I visited a hospital here, in Lagos with some brothers yesterday on an assignment. We went to pay for the medical expenses of a woman who birthed twins through CS because her people were not able to pay all she's billed.

When we asked for the Doctor in charge, we were told that he was in the theatre attending to a pregnant woman. When he finished with her, we joined him in his office. And while we were with him, we heard wail. Then he narrated what happened to us.

He said it is from the woman who underwent surgery. He added that it's because she has been praying for fruit of womb for long and her prayer was eventually answered. However, she couldn't give birth to the baby herself so she underwent CS and as Allah wants it, she lost the baby.

Meanwhile, her womb has become damaged by fibroid and except if Allah wills, she may not conceive anymore. And not as if there's no money; her family has money for medical expenses but her condition is beyond it.

You see how Allah does his work, right? The woman we went to pay her bill birthed twins but could not afford medical bill. In fact, she once had twins before these present ones and they are alive doing fine. The woman who lost her baby has money but it could not save the baby's life and she has not had any kid before.

Indeed, there are lessons in hospitals if one visits them. You think your condition is bad? Go out there, you'd find someone whose condition is worse.
